Telangana Reuters, Hyderabad, 1st September, 2026 : The District Level Science Drama Festival–2026 concluded on a high note on August 31, 2026, at Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet Zone, Hyderabad.with the Proceedings of District Educational Officer Sri S Yadaiah Garu , Organized and conducted by the District Science Officer Sri C. Dharmender Rao, the festival showcased high-caliber theatrical performances that blended complex scientific concepts with creative story telling.
Chief Guest Speech : Smt. J. Prasanna, Deputy Educational Officer (Ameerpet Zone), graced the event as the Chief Guest, commending the students for using drama as a medium to foster scientific temperament and environmental awareness.
Jury Evaluation: The theatrical presentations were evaluated by a distinguished two-member panel comprising Sri P. Sravan Kumar WE Hub Coordinator and Smt. Sunitha Principal, Little Scholars School, Medchal District, who assessed the teams on thematic clarity, acting, stage presence, and scientific relevance.
Host Institution & Hospitality: Host Principal Dr. Lalitha Kumari alongside the faculty and staff of Sister Nivedita School ensured flawless execution of the program through meticulous planning and warm hospitality.
Administrative Support: Smt. Laxmi Saritha, Senior Clerk Ameerpet Zone , extended vital administrative and logistical support to ensure the seamless management of the festival.
The program concluded with the felicitation of guests, judges, and participating teams, marking another successful year of encouraging science education through performing arts. Finally all the Participants Recieved participation certificates from the Chief Guest Smt J. Prasanna.
