Grand Celebration of Bangaru Maisamma Thalli Bonalu Jatara 2026

Telangana Reuters, Hyderabad, 08th September, 2026 : The Bangaru Maisamma Thalli Bonalu Jatara was celebrated with great devotion and grandeur under the leadership of K.R. Rajkumar (President, Telangana NGO Association – Hyderabad District & TNGOs School Education Department – ​​Hyderabad Central Forum) and M.D. Fakruddin Ahmed (Secretary). A large number of employees, officials, staff, their family members, and devotees participated in the event and offered Bonalu to the Goddess.

Key guests who attended the event, offered prayers, and performed special rituals included Dr. S.M. Hussaini Mujeeb (General Secretary, TNGO Central Association); Satyanarayana Goud and Kasturi Venkateshwarlu (Vice Presidents, Central Association); K. Srinivas (Secretary, TNGOs Hyderabad District); Khalid and Shankar (Vice Presidents); Vaidik Shastra (Publicity Secretary); Jahangir (PRO); Waheed (APRO); Ramakrishna and Mohammad; Srikanth (TJAC City Chairman); M.B. Krishna Yadav (TJAC Convener); and Kondal Reddy and Chandu (Vice Presidents, TNGO Central Union).

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. S.M. Hussaini Mujeeb stated that the Bonalu festival stands as a symbol of the warmth, culture, and traditions of the people of Telangana. He emphasized that everyone bears the responsibility of preserving Telangana’s age-old traditions and passing on their unique significance to future generations. Mujeeb commended the Telangana NGO Association for its continuous efforts to safeguard employee rights and welfare, as well as for organizing social, cultural, and spiritual activities that foster unity among employees. He urged all employees to remain united and move forward through mutual cooperation.

The event was attended by several officials, including Mr. Satyanarayana Reddy (Additional Director, Office of the Director of School Education), Mr. Somireddy (Regional Joint Director, Hyderabad), Mr. Yadaiah (District Educational Officer, Hyderabad), Mr. Srinivas Reddy (Additional Officer), Mr. Satyanarayana (Additional Officer, School Education Office, Hyderabad), Mr. Poornachander (Additional Officer, Ranga Reddy District), and Mr. Venkateshwar Reddy (Assistant Director to the Regional Joint Director). Government Pleaders and Additional Government Pleaders from the High Court also participated in the program.

A large number of School Education Department forum members, employees, staff, and their family members participated, making the event a success.

Dr. Mujeeb expressed his hope that, with the blessings of Goddess Bangaru Maisamma, the employees, their families, and the people of Telangana would lead healthy and happy lives, and that the state of Telangana would achieve further progress across all sectors.
