QCFI Hyderabad Chapter Holds 40th Annual Convention

Telangana Reuters, Hyderabad, 9th September, 2026 : The Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Hyderabad Chapter, hold its 40th Annual Convention at Hotel Marigold, Begumpet, Hyderabad, the theme of this convention was “Leading with Quality for Sustainable Growth and Self-Reliance” it was attended by around 200 teams and 1,050 grass root level employees from various organizations to showcase quality improvement projects and innovative practices.

The convention was inaugurated by Shri Dayanand Reddy, Chairman, QCFI Hyderabad Chapter, in the presence of Shri Ch. Balakrishna Rao, Shri Shyam Mohan, Chairman Emeritus Shri K. Manohar Hegde, Director, and Shri Sankara Rao Seetala, Honorary Secretary, among others.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Dayanand Reddy said that quality is not just a business requirement but a national imperative. He emphasized that world-class quality strengthens customer confidence, enhances India’s global reputation and contributes to national growth.

He urged QCFI members to integrate technology, Artificial Intelligence, automation and sustainability into the Quality Circle movement. He highlighted three key priorities: make quality a way of life, empower employees to innovate and take ownership, and contribute to the vision of an Atma Nirbhar and Viksit Bharat.

He said the annual convention provides an important platform for organizations to share ideas, exchange best practices and promote employee-driven innovation through Quality Circles, 5S and Kaizen.

QCFI Hyderabad Chapter also recognized organizations supporting the Quality Circle movement, including NMDC, BHEL, Thermo Cables, Thermo Pads, Tata, Toshiba, BEL, M.S. Agarwal, Ramco, KCP, Wipro, Biological E Ltd, HAL and Rain Cements.

Three past Chairman of QCFI Hyderabad Chapter were also felicitated for their long tenure and taking forward the QC movement in Telangana this far. Namely Mr Rammohan Rao, IPS., Ex Governor of Tamilnadu, Shri A Shyam Mohan and Shri C Balakrishna Rao, have shared their experiences.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Sankara Rao Seetala, Honorary Secretary, followed by the National Anthem.
