Telangana Reuters, 21st September, 2026 : Ika Abhi (6 years old), son of Ravinder from Barla Mallayya Gumpu village in Gangaram Mandal, was examined by the RBSK medical team (Gudur Team-B). Upon noticing that the boy was experiencing severe breathlessness, he was referred from MGM Hospital to KMC for further medical evaluation. Doctors at KMC conducted tests, including a 2D-ECHO, which revealed a hole in the boy’s heart; consequently, he was referred to NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad.
The Hon. Minister for Panchayat Raj and Women & Child Welfare, Seethakka, sanctioned Rs. 2,50,000 (Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand Rupees) through CMRF/LOC to cover the cost of the boy’s heart surgery at NIMS Hospital. Special thanks were conveyed to the Minister and Dr. B. Sanjeev Naik on behalf of the Mahabubabad District Medical and Health Department.
