Telangana Reuters, Hyderabad, September 4, 2026, Banjara Hills: Pallapu Govardhan, Secretary of the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi and a senior BJP leader of the constituency, stated that he is entering politics for the development of the youth. He emphasized that he would not criticize anyone but would campaign exclusively for the development of local neighborhoods (bastis). On Sunday, he held a cordial gathering with the youth of Khairatabad at the Banjara Function Hall in Banjara Hills. Speaking on the occasion, he reiterated that his entry into politics is driven solely by public issues and that he is stepping into the political arena as a successor to role models like Tiger Narendra, Baddam Balreddy, and PJR. He asserted that Khairatabad does not belong to any single individual and that the constituency is built by the poor and the working class. He alleged that the development of the numerous bastis in the constituency and the needs of the poor have been neglected. He noted that, regardless of whether he holds an official position, he has consistently worked for the poor and contributed to the development of hospitals and temples.
A large number of youth, women, and elders from various caste associations across the divisions of the Khairatabad constituency attended the meeting.
