Eleven-year-old Saanvi Lattala of Match Point Badminton Academy scripted history by winning three Gold Medals in three different age categories at the Srikakulam District Badminton Championship 2026, held on July 11 and 12 at Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh.
With this remarkable achievement, Saanvi became the first girl in the history of the Srikakulam District Badminton Championship to win the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 Girls’ Singles titles in a single district championship. Even more impressively, she completed the entire tournament without dropping a single set, demonstrating exceptional dominance, consistency, and maturity beyond her age.
Tournament Results
Under-13 Girls’ Singles Final Saanvi Lattala defeated Rama Kethana by 15-8, 15-7.
Under-15 Girls’ Singles Final Saanvi Lattala defeated Chitri Jyothsna by 15-6, 15-9.
Under-17 Girls’ Singles Final Saanvi Lattala defeated Mokshitha Nandhini by 15-7, 15-8.
By winning all three titles, Saanvi has qualified to represent Srikakulam District in the forthcoming Andhra Pradesh State Badminton Championship.

The championship concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony attended by Sri Gondu Shankar Garu, Hon’ble MLA of Srikakulam, Sri Farman Ahmed Khan, IAS, Joint Collector, Srikakulam, Sri Sagar Garu, President, Srikakulam District Badminton Association, Sri Rajendran Garu, Chairman, and Sri Suribabu Garu, CEO of the Srikakulam District Badminton Association. The dignitaries presented trophies and medals to the winners and congratulated Saanvi on her extraordinary achievement.
The officials appreciated her dedication, discipline, and outstanding performance, expressing confidence that she would bring more laurels to Srikakulam District and Andhra Pradesh at the State Championship.
The historic achievement has brought immense pride to Match Point Badminton Academy, where coaches, parents, and fellow players celebrated Saanvi’s record-breaking performance.
