92nd Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Acharya Jayashankar

Telangana Reuters, Hyderabad, 04th August, 2026 : P. Narsimlu, In-charge Assistant Director of the Department of Language and Culture, announced on Tuesday that the 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of Acharya Jayashankar—the ideologue of the Telangana movement and the visionary behind the separate state—will be held on the 6th of this month at 11:00 AM in the main auditorium of Ravindra Bharati. He stated that the Minister for Language and Culture, Jupally Krishna Rao; the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council, Banda Prakash; and Special Chief Secretary Vani Prasad will attend the event as chief guests. The program will feature a musical tribute to Jayashankar performed by artists from ‘Telangana Samskrutika Sarathi’. Narsimlu urged a large number of Jayashankar’s admirers to attend the event.
