Sri Naveen Nicholas, IAS, Director of School Education, Government of Telangana, today released the poster of the National Students Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2026, a nationwide online environmental awareness quiz being conducted from 15 July to 15 September 2026.
On this occasion, the Director appreciated the initiative aimed at promoting environmental consciousness, climate responsibility, sustainable lifestyles and the principles of Mission LiFE among school students. He expressed confidence that Telangana, which has consistently excelled in student participation in previous editions of NSPC, would once again emerge as one of the leading States in the country.
He appealed to all District Educational Officers, school managements, Heads of Institutions, teachers and students to actively participate in the campaign and ensure maximum enrolment of students in NSPC 2026. He also emphasized the importance of schools nominating Class Teachers as NSPC Nodal Teachers and organizing “NSPC Day” as part of the Bagless Days initiative to facilitate large-scale student participation.
Dr. W. G. Prasanna Kumar, Director, Telangana National Green Corps and National Co-Convenor, NSPC 2026, thanked the Director of School Education for his encouragement and support towards making Telangana the leading State in India in NSPC 2026 participation.
